Greek Salad Dressing and Marinade

Ingredients


4 - oz Lemon Juice (Freshly Squeezed)
4 - Cloves Garlic
1 Tbs Water
1 Tbs Greek Seasoning (Penzey's)
1/4 - tsp Salt
Pinch Black Pepper (Coarsely Ground)
4 - oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil

 

Directions

    1. Juice the lemons.
    2. Mince the garlic.
    3. Make an lemon-garlic Infusion by: A) adding the minced garlic in the lemon juice and allowing it to sit for 15 minutes. B) Strain the minced garlic from the lemon juice. C) Pour garlic infused lemon juice into a Good Seasons salad dressing bottle (or other 1-cup capacity wide mouth bottle). Discard the minced garlic.
    4. Make a slurry of the Greek Seasoning by adding the tablespoon of water to the tablespoon of Penzey's Greek Seasoning. Set aside and allow to hydrate for 5 minutes.
    5. While the Greek Seasoning slurry is hydrating, add the rest of the ingredients to the bottle with the garlic infused lemon juice.
    6. Add the Greek Seasoning Slurry to the salad dressing bottle.
    7. Shake the mixture and store in the refrigerator.
